Today Trev took us out to Appari town about 90 kilometres away, which is the nearest town to buy supplies!

The bar on Valentine's Day

The bar at night

Chris today taught the kitchen staff with me as his assistant how to make his delicious freshly baked bed and then made his legendary pizzas! I then re-wrote the specails board introducing them to the local Filipino guests and remarkably they went down a storm that we even sold out! :)

Then, in the afternoon as the sun was finally shining for the day, we did a little work before hitting the beach for a couple of hours,

We've just been doing a little bit of work followed by a little relaxing taking walks along the beach with Trev and his dog Max, we just hope that the weather clears up a little before Valentine's Day!

The pool at night

You would think we were in the U.K by taking a look at the weather here, so we have mainly been working inside on the computer in the kitchen today as there's very little else to do except taking a walk earlier when it stopped raining for 1/2 hour. We haven't even been in the pool or sea as yet as it's too cold!!

3am in the bar

Last night after I had already written the blog entry we stayed up late drinking with some of locals on the beach, one even sneakily stealing a bottle of our wine!! So today we were a little tender slowly doing some work taking a little rest bite on the beach occasionally; Chris doing a little fishing and myself some reading...

Trev, Jo and Me

Chris is quite in his element here in Trev's and Jo's resort already taking over the kitchen sharpening knives for hours and cooking his first Filipino dish, whilst I've been trying out my Excel skills drafting out spreadsheets and researching Valentine Menus!

Our plane to Manila

At just gone 1am we boarded our flight to Manila, the capitol of the Philippines which took around 3 1/2 hours.

Happy about having extra-leg room seats from KL to Manila

When we arrived in Manila there was very little to do but take little power naps and drink rubbish coffee for 7 hours before our next flight to Tuguegarao

where we kindly were picked up Trev and taken to his beautiful resort in Sanata Ana! How exciting! We have a lovely room surrounded by lovely people for the next 2 months! Perfect!
