On the way to Langebaan

The drive was long and hot, but we made it there eventually. :)

Arriving in Langebaan

The place was stunning!! Right by the sea, dotted with pools, and designed with white-washed Greek styles, it was the perfect place to unwind and have fun (apart from the incident involving the security guard banging on our door at 2 in the morning).

Club Mykanos

Us girls spent most of the time by the pool, while the guys did who-knows-what and managed to get lost trying to find the infamous Strandloper Restaurant.

We tried the sauna which was hot and dry as opposed to hot and steamy (which we were expecting). It was an odd experience and we all felt slightly claustrophic in the tiny wooden room, but at least now we can check that off our to-do lists.

One evening Sheryl and I managed to catch the sunset while on a walk to the small supermarket (the others were too lazy to join us, so they missed it). It was absolutely amazing, and definitely worth the ten minute walk.

Poker, alcohol, some interesting Truth-or-Dare games, and Austin Powers had us all up until past 2 each morning, resulting in bleary-eyed mornings, but it was well worth it.

All in all, it was a pretty awesome trip. And I really love my friends.

Definitely! But I'd suggest starting in [[South-Africa/Cape-Town]] and then heading towards [[South-Africa/Langebaan]]. [[South-Africa/Cape-Town]] just has so much more to offer, both in scenery (Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Gardens, the numerous beaches, etc.) and in culture.

[[South-Africa/Langebaan]] is nice for a small break away from everything. It is beautiful though(as you can see from the pictures).

But nearly everywhere in [[South-Africa]] is beautiful. :)
