Day 5 We Love Elvis!!!!!!!

Memphis, United States

You can't go to Memphis and not visit Graceland. It is a site to see. Shag carpet on the ceiling, white fur round beds, and wooden furniture carved out to look like lions and tigers, oh my! We had to take a shuttle over the the grounds, that was an experience all its own. People go nuts for this stuff. One guy on our shuttle said that this experience changed his life :) We wanted to fit in so we wore the craziest Elvis t-shirts we could find, had matching Elvis pocketbooks, and Elvis glasses.

Day 6 Alabama- we came, we saw and we left...fast.

Birmingham, United States

We drove through Alabama, saw some crazy trailers, confederate flag bumper stickers on every car and miles and miles of backwoods. We had quite an experience at the local thrift store where everyone knew we were not from around there based on our front teeth. We fed some cows granola bars and high tailed it to Mississippi.

Day 6, 7 and 8 Tupelo, Mississippi

Tupelo, United States

We decided to stick with the Elvis theme and travel to Elvis's hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi. Our first night there we played bingo with the locals at Magnolia Bingo. On the second night there we met a group of really cool people who had a house party for us and one of them even let us keep his puppy pitbull for the day and renamed him Elvis as per our suggestion. We are loving the southern hospitality of Tupelo!

Day 9 Biloxi, Mississippi

Biloxi, United States

From Tupelo we traveled down to Biloxi and got Magnolia tattoos on our necks at Jack and Diane's Tattoo Place. On the whole trip whenever we pick our destination we always put in Mangolia street and after all the fun we had in Mississipi we come to find its the states flower so it was the perfect tattoo to get to remember our trip. We hung out on hammocks by the ocean at the Hard Rock Cafe's Hotel during the day and at night we put on our best Sunday dresses and attempted to be saved at a Pentecostal church but they would not have us.

Day 10 and 11 New Orleans, LA

New Orleans, United States

24 hour bars, smell of vomit in the air, booty shaking contests, jazz bands and swimming in your clothes New Orleans is a non stop party city. It was a beautiful city with a lot of culture, amazing street artists, great food and a lot of evidence of hurricane Katrina still left.

We drove 8 1/2 hours from New Orleans to San Antonio, Texas. We stopped at Cajun Tales before leaving and never want to eat fried food again.

Day 13 and 14 San Antonio, Texas

San Antonio, United States

San Antonio is by far the prettiest and most romantic place we have ever been. We strolled down the riverwalk, took a night time river cruise, and ate lots of Mexican food. We are sleep deprived from our horrific hotel, we do not recommend the Red Roof Inn. We went to the Alamo and decided David Crockett was awesome. Off to Austin next.
