A Wedding in Isla Mujeres
... a small little island off of Cancun. we 1st set foot on this island back in 1999, as a day trip when we were vacationing in Playa del Carmen. Isla Mujeres was an old fishing village. 7 years later, we return for a vacation... we needed a getaway from the hustle & bustle of city life... on our 2nd day, as we were walking by the sea from our quaint little hotel, Casa Ixchel, to the downtown area, Kenny proposed to me!... with a cute little illustration of stick figures on the sand! it was truly romantic... 2007, a year later, we return to this island w/ our family & friends to get married & profess our love & vows of commitment to each other...
