Off to Victoria, British Columbia for the 16th WCDEM. Missed the 15th in Amsterdam, but went to the 14th in Edinburgh. Not expecting "a lot of science".

That pesky swine flu!

Left 24 hours late as Air Canada cancelled my flight - presumably people are cancelling their trips as Canada has the third highest number of confirmed cases of the dreaded swine 'flu.

y registration for the conference was delayed as the "computers were down" (the universal excuse these days). Maybe that's why my flight to Canada was cancelled.
