My "grandpa" here...hes 64, he feeds me...but always there is a price to pay...such as hearing the same story multiple times a day: "you know, you remind me of my friend Katie...we were always fucking with each other, you know, that's why i bopped you in the face with a book..I thought you were Kate...you know...you look like her. We were real close...We used to steal her mothers cigarettes, hide behind the shed and smoke em together...we'd even go to the bathroom together we were so tight... than some asshole from the next town over came and got her pregnant and had to marry her. Everything was great till that dickhead came around. I was pissed so I joined the military and went to Vietnam. Now Kate don't even want to see me cuz she got fat...her mom died of obesity you know...now Kate's something like 400 or 500 pounds...but I don't care...cuz Kate is Kate"

Now when he tells me the story I start to finish it for him ... he doesn't seem to catch on that I know it by heart now. He just gets a shocked look on his face and continues.
