First Destination

This is our first stop, a 4 hr layover in Vancouver, BC. We land in Vancouver, BC. We have a 4 hr layover here. Surprise, it's me. Yes, we're bored and taking pictures for no reason. Here's Michelle, looking bored. 4 hrs later, we're off again!

Day 13

After leaving the ship, Ellery and I spent the day in Vancouver, mostly at the Fair. Finally, we saw animals! Ellery also had her first bunji experiences and a bit of juggling capped off the trip.

Prep - trip to Canada

Andrew celebrated his 4th birthday today, with his cousins and hosted by his uncle Gerard. They got him a Superman icecream cake! We should have been driving back to the States, and more importantly, voting today. but the fiasco with the moving truck.....

We just returned from a great cruise on the Victory. I was concerned after reading some reviews of past cruises. We had a wonderful time. The ship is lovely and so spacious. We were fortunate enough to get a cabin with a balcony. What a great way to see and enjoy all the ports of call. The room...

Visiting an Olympic site and finally getting to our desitination

Drove through Calgary and made a slight detour to see the remnants of the Olympic village. Then eventually made our way further east to eventually get to Hughenden, Alberta. This is a teeeeeny tiny, blink and you miss it, town about an hour or two east of Calgary where my mom was born and lived...
