GPS Track Log Integration

My idea is to take a GPS Data Logger (e.g. http://www.ohararp.com/products.html) on my future trips to maintain a long-term record of where I went. The idea being that it logs the position once every x seconds(*1) onto an SD card. You can then get that log off the card in either NMEA or KML format, and do nice things like geo-tag your photos, upload as a track on Google Earth etc.

So if the "nice things" could be integrated into blogabond I think it would be pretty cool!

Note *1: You trade of frequency of logging and time between recharges. e.g. you can do 1 per second for a couple of days, or once every 10 minutes for a couple of months.
