Another last day of snorkelling

Kampong Ayer Batang, Malaysia

Today is our last full day on Tioman Island so we decided to make the most of it and go snorkelling one last time. It wasn't however as enjoyable as the previous trip as there were lots of stinging plankton in the water which is apperently unpredictable and changes with the tides so we didn't as much time as we did before.

We swam to a marine park another beach along and this is where they feed some of the fish. It is basically a tourist attraction for non-swimmers with life jackets, but we decided to go along as well. So, you swim into it and there are lifeguards throwing bread into the water whilst you are swimming. It was actually pretty good as it was just like being in a huge fish tank. However there was one lone barracuda in amongst the other fish- which wasn't supposed to be there which was a little scary!
