April 25, 2011 - Feufield Farm

Hi All,
Sorry again about the delay in postings. Time and fatigue has been an issue, but the internet connection more so. I've tried a few times late at night to get a blog up and the internet connection is either too weak to load the photos or it drops me off completely...really frustrating since they have wi-fi in the House!

Anyway, the 3-day Easter event this weekend went really well, despite the rain on the first day (Saturday). The easter egg hunt on Sunday was a hit with the kids, as were are the animals. Lots of burgers, cake, and ice cream were sold and quite a few laying hens and chicks. So, overall a very successful weekend for the farm :)

Saturday night we all went out to the Crown Pub in Biggar after all the animals were down for the night. It was karaoke night (and, no, I didn't sing!)...believe it or not, that was the first time I'd ever been to karaoke...and I hope the last :P But Kim was actually really good and so was Kathryn, Jackie's niece. There were quite a few though that made me wish I was drinking!

Tomorrow the farm will go back to it's regular routine, so at least it won't be as hectic, but I'm really glad that I was here to help and take part in the biggest event for the farm. I hope all of you had a Happy Easter as well...
