May 02, 2011 - Feufield Farm
Symington

Another busy weekend with lots of customers...word seems to have gotten around after the Easter event :) Sold all of the ducklings except one (a dozen), but still have 5 goslings. Hens are also leaving the farm like crazy...sold 6 yesterday and another 20 this morning! There were definitely fewer eggs to collect this afternoon and the big hen
House
is now rather roomy.
Work has also started on the new "Llama's Larder Cafe" that is being created out of one of the rooms of the
House
. A window was taken out and french doors installed to the outside for an entrance (see photos below). That work was finished today (Monday) and soon a kitchen will be installed. Kim wants to open the cafe to the public in 3 weeks. Also Cesar was enlisted to paint the trim on the
House
red.
So, good things are starting to happen at Feufield Farm. It's been nice to see Kim so excited to finally see her dream being realized and to help play a part (no matter how small)...
