Hello from the Lake District in England. My trip went smoothly...I had no problems with my train connections or catching the bus, so that's a good start. I am however, knackered, as they say here, so this will be a short blog. Tim, his wife, Liz, and Woytek, the cottage manager, are all very nice and welcoming. Below are just a couple of photos I took on the way here...most of the countryside and lake on the 1 mile walk from the bus stop to the cottage. I look forward to exploring the towns, the lake, and the trails in the area soon...
