It sounds like your camera must be saving pictures as .tif files. That's a file type that creates really detailed images, and saves them as REALLY BIG files. That would explain why it takes so long to upload them, and why Blogabond seems to choke on them when they appear!

Most cameras that save files as .tif will also save out a .jpg version of each photo (or at least offer the option to do so.) .jpg files are much smaller, and work a lot better for emailing and uploading to websites. If you can find a folder on your camera holding them, then you're good to go!

If all you have is the .tif files, then things could be a bit more complicated. You'll need to find a piece of software that will convert them to .jpg for you. It actually shouldn't be THAT bad, since any camera that exports its files as .tif will probably come with software to convert them to something useful. Check the CD that came with the camera.

Anyway, sorry for the inconvenience. Definitely keep me posted, and let me know if you need any extra help. This is likely something that's happening to lots of people, so I'd appreciate the help in figuring out a solution that works for everybody.
