lost blog entry
hi, on monday the 15th I wrote 2 consecutive blog entries...apparently they were saved as drafts and when I went to convert them both to live versions I lost one of the entries in the process. Is there a way to resurrect this lost entry?

Found it.
It looks like that blog entry either got flagged as spam by our automated spamfilter or, more likely, was accidentally marked as spam by me during one of my daily cleanups.
Sorry about that, but I'm glad you caught it! Your entry is back up and running now.
Happy holidays in the Southern Hemisphere!

I think the same thing keeps happening to me. I originally posted CommentID=43544 which disappeared altogether. I re-posted the same entry as CommentID=43544, which currently exists but it doesn't show up in my trip TripID=4608. Can you take a look?

Indeed it was. That entry somehow got the double whammy of being marked as spam and then deleted! It's back up now.
I'll be making some tweaks to the SpamFilter so that it won't even consider messing with posts from known, trusted users like yourself.

OK, I've made those changes to the SpamFilter.
As part of the moderation tools, I can now mark users such as yourself as "trusted", meaning you'll never need worry about having any of your entries removed by the automated filters.
I should have done this a long time ago. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Looks like it's still happening to me. I re-posted as

and it's gone again. :{

You're right. It was still happening.
Turns out we still had one of our old spam fighting measures in place: a nightly job that would delete any post with more than 5 URLs in the text. That worked great back in the day, but now that we allow YouTube embeds (with 2 URLS apiece)... not so much.
Anyway, I've simply turned that thing off, since our current bayesian filter makes it unnecessary. Your original post is back live again. I'll assume you don't need to have the duplicate one reactivated?
Sorry for all the trouble. I think we're out of the woods on this one!
