Have you spoken with doola yet the owner? if you ask him to put you in touch with samran he will. He can also put you in touch with the makers of the manali cremlehakkkkkkkkk.
If you do meet with samran the wonderfully happy man, he can get you firewood and take you into the mountains, carry most of the stuff and be the most informative guide you will ever find. Quite a statement i know, just wait till you meet him.
