First stop......Rio :)

I have now fully settled into Rio de Janeiro, when I say fully settled I really do mean that as I can never see myself leaving! Rio is the most amazing place there really is something for everyone. Whether your into Cities, mountains, beaches, nightlife or the chilled life it's all here. I really enjoy working at the hostel and have met some really nice people. The work is hard but worth it to stay in this fantastic City.
I have become a regular on Copacabana beach and can see why it's world famous. Anything goes on there, it doesn't matter what you look like (although most people are beautiful) no body cares. The thought of sitting on a sometimes overcrowded beach used to put me off however for some reason it really doesn't matter on Copacabana. The atmosphere and vibe is so good that I could be touching someone else's toes and not mind. The many sounds of Aqua, sorvete, cerveza etc keep you going and the Brazilian people are so friendly and don't hassle you at all to buy.....they are far to chilled for that.
I'm slowly trying all the local specialties my favourite being Acai it's so addictive!! I had quite a bad experience on Caipirinha it is so strong but taste refreshing so it's easy to get carried away, it is definitely well worth a try but watch out for the banging headache the next day!!
