A night in Antalya (#7)

Antalya, Turkey

As the thought of taking that dreadfull trainride back to Istanbul simply horrified us, we decided to fly back to Istanbul instead. And guess what!? We gained a day! So off to Antayla we went.

We got to stay in a little Pension in the old city (we didn't bother with the rest- its not much to write about) which is in possibly one of the most romantic areas any city could offer! WE LOVED the old city!Not only is it situated on breathtaking cliffs but it has tiny little cobble stoned roads and beautifully restored mansions you can stay at.

Wow, you're putting these places on the map for me! I like the scenery with you two in them. I'm sure you're taking many more pictures that you'll eventually show us - in person? Looks like you're having fun because you're smiling in just about every picture. Always have coffee before having your picture taken! OK, now we await the Egytian shots!

How the heck do you two keep looking so beautiful? I was reading all the blogs just now (as I have been a little slackin on it...) and when you mention that you were sleep deprived and weary travelers I examined the pictures intently and could not find one in which this appeared to be true. I miss you girlies! I can't wait to hear every last detail of the trip! As mom so nicely put it, I am the only one of the immediate family in LA. Weird. And what's that desert? It looks like chocolate covered prunes or figs with fig-rum jam ;-) Mmmmhmmm! Yummy.
