It was the best hot-Spring hotel, stayed for two nights. The Taiwan Tourism sign of approval was seen at this hotel.

2007-07-19 20:29. Getting ready to head to the hot Spring area.

2007-07-19 22:09. Pool, water area closed for day, returned to room for shower.

We were originally supposed to be discussing plans for our bus' end-of-tour performance. Instead, we just enjoyed the hot Spring area. Conversation and clapping games in the hot sitting and wading areas, splashed, formed and dragged people in human-link-trains at the waist-high cold pool.

We changed our minds about Asian bathing when saw someone step right into what we had thought was the clean water trough. Decided to wash again with proper showers back in our room.

2007-07-20 19:22. A bit after dinner, played UNO with Indonesians

2007-07-20 21:50. Spent some time chatting near the hotel cafe shop seats where there was wireless internet and someone brought their laptop.

Most of us had rooms in the main hotel building equipped with ceiling fans but no air conditioning, except in the connected lobby, so it was annoyingly humid in our rooms. I also asked for a new blanket as the current spare one from the closet had a suspicious damp smell. Reunion Islanders were in a separate, nicer building with air conditioning.

2007-07-25 09:57. Received, filled and submitted the study tour's medical insurance company (AIG) claim form along with the hospital receipt and diagnosis. This was so I could get reimbursed for fees I had paid on July 13th at a hospital in Jiaosi.

2007-07-26 00:39. Came back to lobby after a brief trip to 7-Eleven. Some people were about to leave in taxis to visit Kaohsiung night clubs.

Bus leader passed out envelopes, and announced that for those who would like help to book their return trip, to write their name on an envelope and include NT$ 1500, and staff will collect these individual envelopes, help book, buy tickets and return the change.
