Plans, Plans, Plans

Plans are coming along nicely. Flights are all booked (into New York and out of San Diego), so now all that's left to do is work out how to travel the 2,800 miles (as the crow flies) in between.

We're staying in Manhattan (two blocks from the Empire State Building!) for about a week before heading up to Boston for a week. Then, as the plan goes, we head down to Washington so I can indulge my politics geek side, then back up a little way to Philly to catch Motion City Soundtrack play (with support from Sherwood, amazing). After that it's pretty much a free-for-all. Sort of.

We're in contact with our new pal John in Charleston, SC, who is putting us up for about a week at his palatial pad. We found him through the spectacular Couchsurfing Project (google it), so if you're planning to travel definately have a quick search to see if anyone's going to be about so you can meet some supercool people.

America! Yeeeeeh

So that's pretty much where it's at right now. Looking forward to it; excited and apprehensive. Probably organise some sort of BBQ cookoff at mine so I can get to see everyone before I go - bearing in mind when I return I pretty much go to Uni the next day - possibly branching into wonderful Gravesend for some drinks so I can see the fatherland off as well. Should be a blast whatto!

I love beer and ribs.
