We actually have a tool that lets you upload photos in large batches, but I'm reluctant to let it out for fear that people would start uploading their entire camera's worth of photos. Here's a short entry I wrote, explaining my philosophy behind this decision:

Still, I go back and forth a lot on this, so don't be surprised if you see a link to the Blogabond Photo Uploader tool one of these days. I'll keep you in mind if I ever want to release it for preliminary testing!
