Blog Map route points should relate interactively with relevant blog entries
Currently:
Clicking on a travel blog's map route points will simply zoom in the map.
Ideally:
Since a travel blog's entry is always associated with a location (the City
Field
), and locations are then plotted on the map, the map points could be made interactive- click and it pops up a window to display all of entries associated with that point.

You're right. That has confused a lot of users over time, and it's been personally bothering me for a while. It's really not all that hard to fix either, so I guess I should just find the time to take care of it.
I'm a bit swamped with other work right now (the kind that pays money!) so it might be a couple weeks before I can fix this. Thanks though, for reminding me to stay focused on the small things that just make the site work better.
ps. Are the Chinese characters on your blog displaying correctly? Let me know if there's anything we can tweak to make them look a bit better!

Hi Jason thanks for looking into it I appreciate this :)
1.
Thanks Jason for looking into it, the ability click a map point and load info specific to that user's trip(instead of loading from the pool of data from everyone's trips), is one of those things that would take the site up a notch.
2. Chinese characters arent working for photo captions
Chinese characters are fine for everything except photo captions , I believe none of my photos work with Chinese captions, they are displayed as question marks.
3.
"Title and Organize your Photos" erases previously entered data. Steps to reproduce: I go to the trip view, I pick Title and Organize your Photos, and I a see 1. all captions become the two letters "mr" and 2. all cities get wiped blank.
Workaround:
Currently I avoid the Title and Organize your Photos tool and add captions individually.
