Hi!

thank you for hosting a really neat blog site. we appreciate that it's free of all cyber-rubbish and ads. we do have a question... since we don't have a file size converter, is there a way that we could upload photos quicker and in smaller sizes? we have a dslr camera and we're concerned that the files (average 4-6 mb) may be too big... thanks and we hope blogabond.com goes on for a very long time.

Sorry for the late reply. Yeah, it's a bit painful transferring 4MB photos from an internet cafe. I've been meaning to offer a little sizer/rotater/uploader tool for a while now. If I can break off any free time in the next couple weeks, I might play around with the idea.

hi Jason! thanks for your reply. I found a converter in my laptop. it's good enough for me right now, it only coverts one photo at a time but it's okay cause it makes it so much easier to upload them to the site. look forward to whatever improvements you are able to make though... still, thanks for a really awesome blog site.

Cool. Good to hear you've found something that works. But hey, it looks like you might actually be sizing a few of your photos too small.

Blogabond will take whatever size you give it, and shrink it down until the longest side is 800 pixels wide. For most cameras, that usually ends up giving photos with resolutions of 800x600 or 600x800. If you're sizing things by hand, try to shoot for those dimensions.

Mind the gap!
