Right to left writing
Hi,
First of all let me say that this site seems to be a very good way to log my travels and share them. I'm comparing sites for a future trip I'm planning and would like to be able to write my entries in Hebrew.
I've tested this and it works, except its direction is still left to right. I would like, if possible, to add an option for right to left writing.
It is implemented in CSS as direction: rtl. I guess perhaps adding a checkbox or something that will wrap the entire entry in a div style="direction:rtl;" block would do the trick simply enough..
Thanks,
Omri

That's a great idea. If you don't mind being my test subject, I might push a new build in the next couple days that will add that CSS parameter to all comments from your specific user account. If you wouldn't mind throwing up a few blog entries in a RTL language, I'll let you know when it is displaying correctly.
If we can get it working, I'll probably add code to handle RTL languages in a generic way.

Ok, I've put a quick test in that will flip all the text for your account around to RTL. It actually does it for one other user too:

Does that look correct to you? If you could post a couple test entries from your account, I'd really appreciate it.

The text on kidexcitement looks good.
I'll add some entries to my account, though my current entry isn't RTL..

Hi Jason,
I added a not-so-short entry in Hebrew and it looks beautiful! The text appears exactly as it should.
I think some testing is in order about the insertion of the images in the text, and about combining Hebrew and English texts in the same entry (if you want to support this feature).
Other than that - it looks great!

Nice. I'll work on incorporating this for the whole site. With luck, I might be able to auto-detect the language you're writing in, and act accordingly. Otherwise, we'll need a check box in the trip options like you suggested.
Thanks again for the help. I'll keep you posted.
