The 2nd pit consisted of just archers, crossbowmen and chariots the latter of which only the horses and crew remain. 4 of the figures have been taken out of the pits Crossbowman General Charioteer The smallest of the 3 pits. The emperors bodyguards These figures all face in at the edges, in the other pits the edge warriors all face out. Apparantly these warriors were also only armed with wooden weapons as opposed to proper weapons like in the other 2 pits. The view as you enter the main pit
