Galapagos mockingbirds come up to you looking for water... they sometimes perch on people's shoulders and beg... fresh water is pretty hard to come by on most of the islands Pelicans swarm our panga.. I guess they thought we had food A male frigate bird showing off to his girlfriend Sea Lions are everywhere! They love sleeping in boats A turtle comes up for air... The Amigo, where I spent 8 days crusing around the islands A former volcanic crater... the islands all move east, and eventually sink into the sea (there are 4 known former islands under water) A Galapagos penguin... they would swim with us when we were snorkelling Sullivan Bay, a small beach where turtles build their nests, and we went snorkelling Marine Iguanas hanging out
