This chalkboard is by the entrance to my building complex. The guards write small notices on it or people's names when they get packages. We asked one of the guards if he had written (as seen above) "the People's Republic of China" in English on it. He said "oh yes!" and then ran into their office room to ask us if a package there was ours. My Dad had written "the People's Republic of China" under the address label (also pictured above), so I guess they must have just assumed it was a name... Anyway, here I am proudly displaying my package next to the name on the board...
