The view as you exit the Forbidden city

This is with the city immediately behind me. The city is surrounded by a moat, and the earth from that was used to create this mound. As you can probably see, like some of the other buildings within the city, these are surrounded by scaffolding during a facelift. I guess it's to make everything perfect for the Olympics.
