Our trip to Calgary, Alberta is planned to be approximately 7,900 Miles spanning about 50 days, allowing us to return home to Wilson in early August.

Our cat Scruffy is coming along and will be an experience travel cat when this trip is over.

Left Wilson early in the morning. On our way to Bristol, Tennessee. We are going to the Thunder Valley Nationals NHRA Drag Racing Series.

We will be staying in the Medalian Campground on the grounds of the Bristol Motor Speedway. Sure can't get any closer to the action than this.

Great drive and scenery as when climbed up out of North Carolina into Fancy Gap, Virginia.

Pushed the Big Ford F350 Dually a little hard and caused the engine to defuel. Means it slowed the engine down to keep me from hurting it. It turned the check engine light on. Bad move on my part. Shame on me.

Pulled in at Wytheville, VA; had lunch, and let the truck rest. After lunch restarted and the check engine light went away. Whew!

The rest of our pull to Bristol was uneventful and I was nicer to our baby.

Got in to Bristol early in the afternoon and set the 5th Wheel up. It is our 1 bedroom apartment on wheels.

Can already hear the big dragsters. Can't wait to get to the track and smell some Nitromethane. Yea Ha!
