More LOC's than borders. 147 villages and towns. 49 degrees C. First and second highest roads in the world. 9 of the highest passes in the world. Highest village, second coldest place, second wetest places and a few of the most ancient (and dirtiest) cities in the world. The home of the Dali Lama. More languages than trees. Mulbekh the miniture Bamiyan. Buddists, Muslims and Hindus and Sikhs. A city built on a lake. The Himalaya and Zanskar ranges. The most dangerous (and possibly the most beautiful) place in the world (Clinton, 1999).The lost beatles ashram... yes we found it. 95 647 english spelling mistakes. 8 tigers in the wild. Marijuana forests and opium flavored honey. Water in the desert. Sand dunes in the snow. Dolphins, dead humans and white water rafting all in the same river. Border crossings at China/Tibet, Pakistan and Nepal and last but not certainly least, the Taj Mahal, the greatest monument ever built for love!
