Margarita Island

Porlamar, Venezuela

Margarita was so much fun! The island itself is hidden from those who dare not explore the places that are not "tourist friendly." The reason I say this is because only about 3% of the population in Margarita spoke broken English, and only a few Americans and Europeans visit the island every month.
Therer was so much to do on the island. It has castles, the most amazing church, beautiful beaches with activites galore, a water park with a slide that drops at almost a 90 degree angle, and so much more! The food was also amazing! This palce was so much fun and I would definately want to go back! The only downfall was the plane ride getting there! Really don't want to go into that chaos! I will tell you though that you shouldn't be surprised if you wait 5 hrs. to check your bags, encounted 3 delays in a row, or the crew just simply decides not to show up! Besides that, my husband and I had so much fun on the island with the cool name.
