Exit Stage Left: Saying Goodbye

Well, today is my last day in Santa Cruz. I am feeling strong and excited, but also a little beat down from all the goodbyes. More important than anything, I am so thankful for all our friends and family that have offered up their support and good wishes.
Our recent trip to Sacramento was perfect - I feel very lucky to have inherited Tim's friends - come visit us on the road!

We had a really good time with Tim's family in the Bay Area for Thanksgiving weekend. The camp trip on Angel Island was beautiful - the perfect way to send us on our way!

Then we said goodbye to our friends in Santa Cruz with a great party and an "as-always" super fun Plantronics Holiday Party (wig, disco pants and all)

And then of course the shopping spree at Longs - I just can't help it, but I'm paying for it now... I can't fit it all into my pack. You were right Tim - are you happy now?

I'm a little stressed to get everything done before I leave, but I think we'll be okay regardless - you can't only be so prepared for these kinds of adventures anyway, right?
So farewell... we'll think of you often and see you SOON!
