New Zealand's sick extrme activities

Queenstown, Australia

Right all. Just a quick update for what I've been up to since the last blog entry.

South island of NZ has basically been all fun and games. Since the last update I've done a kayaking and walking hike in an amazing national park, a Glacier hike, which was incredible, a canyon swing from 104 odd metres high, strapped to a chair, backwards, with a 60 metre free fall and 200 metre swing through this massive canyon (yes, I am sick!). Then went and got truly battered until 4 in the morn and had to wake up at 10:30 to do a bloody 134 meter bungee- are ya jooooooooooooking! No jokes ya'll, was almost sick on the drive up to it, but pulled it out the bag and dived like a true pro-no fear (king or...................!)

In queenstown now south NZ which is sweet. Off to Fiji on the 17th but they've got a coup on at the mo so not too sure how safe that'll be. Might be dodging some bullets (FFS!)

Gota go as net time running low but more pics and info to follow. Love to all.

Travel Blog begins!

Nelson, New Zealand

Right people. After over 3 months of travelling I've finally decided to get my arse in gear and jump on this travelblog bandwagon to keep any of you that can be bothered up to date with Cal's and mine travelling antics. Saves on the rubbish group emails and means that those of you who can't bear to read my long emails can just browse the entertaining photos. The one's uploaded are so far just from aus, as haven't had a chance to get any more on there yet, but will soon no doubt.

So right now in Nelson, a small town (aren't they all in New Zealand!?) in the very north of the south island. So far we've hammered through the north island in about a week on the Kiwi experience, which has been bloody quality! Been on a wicked bus with some mad people all the way, so after thinking NZ might be a bit more chilled out
than aus, saving on the liver, head and bank balance, couldn't have been more wrong!
Was pretty much constant lash for the first week, with early hungover mornings and adrenaline rush activities to sort the head out.
Managed to fit in a sky dive over lake Taupo (slightly beats Notts for scenery from the sky), white water rafting (grade 5, the biggest commercially able to ride, so no big deal. Beats Slovenia afraid birdy), black water rafting, quad biking in the most amazing hillside scenery, and zorbing, which involves rolling down a hill in a large inflatable type ball filled with water and three screaming bundling men falling over each other, Cal and I being two of them-'sweet ass man'!

So now we're in the south island where everyone keeps telling us it starts to get good and the real extreme sports start-yes please! Off on a hike and kayaking trip tomo in some national park, then off for more Glacier hiking, bungee jumping, luging and god knows what else.

That's all for now folks. Feel free to post any comments or drop us a mail to let us know what's going down wherever you may be. Next update whenever.

Ta ta
