South America 2007

It is my first week in Qutio and already my spanish is going well. I went to visit the old part of the city with my new profesora Diana. I feel a little out of it almost as if I am in a haze all the time not being able to understand everything but I am so joyful that I am here. As for Quito. It is much bigger then I had expected. There is a busseling tourist section which is good for email and bars but there is not much culture here.

The old city on the other hand is just what you would think of a beautiful colonial town.
