The Mandarin Quest. China, Summer 2009
During the second semester of my first year at St Andrews University I became convinced that, during my life-time, China would become a world super power. Me being me and all I became obsessed with being 'an asset to my community' and decided I absolutely had to learn Chinese. That is how I came to be in Shanghai, China. I am living, working, and going to school here for 3 months over the summer between my 2nd and 3rd years at university.
