Wo Long Nu 2.0

Well hello again... it's your own favorite "dragon lady" from the days of yore (read: 2 days ago) in a whole new blog! I arrived in the Motherland (as my dear friend Kathy has been known to call it) yesterday at about 1:15 pm Shanghai time (12 hours ahead of Eastern Standard) and the adventures have already begun. Why the new platform, you might ask? Well, I came to this country aware of its YouTube censorship/prohibition, expectant of troubles with Facebook, and aware that there might be pages missing from any Western publications I chose to pick up. I did not anticipate that Blogspot would also be blocked (especially when so many other blogging sites are permitted... it doesn't make sense to me).
