At 3 p.m. we hopped a dolmus (a small bus) to Yusufeli, a village about 3 hours north of Erzurum. The ride was spectacular, to say the least. Just outside of Erzurum, we passed fields and fields of the brightest yellow wildflowers I've ever seen. Then we began the decent into the mountains. ...
