For infants beginning classes between the ages of 8 weeks and 6 months, the classes will serve to maintain their comfort in the water and ability to hold their breath and avoid panic. For children beginning between the ages of 6 and 12 months, the classes help to make them comfortable in the water and to regain the ability they once had to hold their breath. For toddlers beginning classes between the ages of 12 and 35 months, they will learn to hold their breath on cue and to survival float.
