Jumping in Slovakia

Bratislava, Slovakia

A few days in 4 days in Slovakia in Bratislava and visiting the Devin Castle. Great country, great people, great food... awful language :-)

This is Slovakiaaaaaaaaa ("famous quote"):

It is on that precise day we arrived in Bratislava that the airplane company that flew us here decided... to go brankrupted :-/ Stuck in the Bratislava yay ! After some time finding for workaround we ended up finding some tickets from Vienna to go Paris. But as it was last minute, it was business class only... champagne was good tough :)

Jumping on the Danube

Fischamend Dorf, Austria

Bratislava and Vienna are 60km distant and the Danube river flows through both cities. I highly recommend to take one of the boat shuttles that go from one city to the other. They're quite cheap and the landscapes sailing on the river are gorgeous!

Jumping in Forcalquier

Forcalquier, France

Forcalquier is my home town ! Great city and wonderful goat chesse.

It also have the ultimate BEST crèperie restaurant in the whole world. Try: Salade de chèvre chaud, then Blanchette and a Corsaire for the dessert!

It is after going to that restaurant that we took the picture below... that might be one of the reason why that jump is a bit low :-)

Jumping at the top of Le Contadour Mountain

L'Hospitalet, France

Le Contadour is a small mountain from the southern Alps. The top rises at 1413m. Perfect place to go hiking and sleeping in the wild when nature's calling you :)

Jumping in the Moon Fall

Carniol, France

La cascade de la Lune (the Moon Fall) is a small fall hidden somewhere around Carniol. During Spring it can be a bit tricky to get there without getting wet :-) But in summer, it's too often that the fall gets dry and the river is not flowing at all.

Jumping in le Colorado provençal

Rustrel, France

The name "Colorado provençal" is named after the similarities in dominant colors with the "real" Colorado. But in this area you can find sand of all kind of colors (up to blue and green !)

Jumping in Liptovský Mikuláš

Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia

(i love those slovak weird accents!)

From Krakow, on our way to Bratislava, we stopped by Liptovský Mikuláš area for some well deserved thermal activities. Have you ever swum in an outdoor pool while it was snowing ? Did you ever have to run outside at night (and naked...) to reach the jacuzzi while it's -8°C degrees ? Have you ever contemplated the moon from a deliciously hot jacuzzi while everywhere outside is nothing but silence and cold ? That what you'll get around Liptovský Mikuláš in december !!
