Sunny, albeit cool, Florida was the destination for Christmas this year. Destin's Emerald Grande Resort is fairly new as is the resort area community itself. They tell us it was a small fishing community as recently as 8 years ago, but the coastal high rises have begun to take over. white sand beaches are amazing. coming from Kansas, we could easily assume its snow on the ground! Big mistake!

listen, 4:30 a.m. Is not the optimum time for leaving... Case in point - LaDonna can't figure out how many socks she actually put on before leaving the House. Only later after we arrived did she figure it out. No cold feet for the trip. (Pun intended)!

Fortunately traffic at the Wichita airport at 6:00 a.m. Isn't much, so checking in was a breeze. thanks Elaina for dropping us off so early! You saved Dava some shut eye. Paybacks, just remember! However, just the mere thought of travel can be stressful, hence the games and alcohol before noon mid flight!
