They tell me the 1st week is the hardest and they'd better be right. It can be rewarding and horrible all in the same lesson, some children make it worth putting up with the other little horrors.

Tomorrows lesson plan is on Class Rules and it should be interesting to see how it goes down! I Hope some of them challenge me so I can get them into trouble....I don't think I should feel like that LOL.

It WILL get better and you sound like you've got the little monsters under control already! When I told Bronwyn that you had trouble with one grade the first day she said in a surprised tone "Didn't she use her LOUD voice?" as if there would be no child on earth who could argue with you! I said no you just sat in silence until they shut up and she was terribly impressed. Keep it up - you'll have them licked in a week!
