This morning we sadly had to leave the Perhentians and catch the Ferry back to the mainland before taking an hour's taxi ride to Kota Baharu to catch a flight to Penang.

The reason why we decided to fly was to save time, yet as the flight was delayed by 3 ½ hours it really wouldn’t have made much difference. Then again, you cannot really expect these kind of things.

Once in Penang we already had somewhere booked and had a stroll around in the evening ending up in a delicious Chinese restaurant.
