Day one

Troutdale, United States

Okay so Road Trips are fun but the whole driving thing is slightly over rated I mean really. It was a beautiful drive I had never been to any of the states we drove though before. I didn't realize there were so many mountains in Wyoming and Utah. Wyoming was great Beautiful we stopped like three times. The first time was about a hundred Miles outside of the Colorado border at this gas station. When we pulled in there was an Arvada police SUV it was a little weird. The last time we stopped we saw the same Arvada Cop and this was right on the border of Utah I wonder where he was going.

After Utah we were in Idaho and it was pretty much dark. We were getting pretty tired we stopped in Boise and Napped for a little while and then kept going and soon enough we were in Oregon. Late that night at like two in the morning Kel and I Switched so she was driving less then five minutes later we came around of curve and saw glimmer light in the pitch black darkness. A few seconds later we an entire herd of deer in the road. Keel Swerved to the side but one of the deer continued to try to walk into that lane. I had my foot on the bracing myself and we missed the deer. THANK GOODNESS.

That’s when we decided to pull off and sleep until morning we figured it would be much safer to drive during daylight.

We found this truck stop with 24 hour cafe in Baker City Oregon and slept for five hours until the sun came up. The sleep was much needed
