Pre-trip Hike & Pizza Party

Hiking boots were put to the test on today's first hike -- so far so good. But this is April in Ontario; the temps were ideal for a Spring hike to Webster's falls along the Niagara Escarpment. Will it be as easy in Israel? How prepared can I be for 40+ C temps and the rugged terrain? Today these boots are comfortable footwear. I wonder if I will be saying the same thing in a month?
