Map widget is blank
This looks like a great site, and seems to be exactly what I've been looking for!
Unfortunately, my map is just appearing blank (zoom buttons, Map, Satellite, and Hybrid buttons are there, but rest of box is just white) when I add it as a widget to my blog on blogspot.
I've tried both the iframe tagging provided directly here, and the script version found through Google Gadgets, making sure to have the correct trip ID (691) in both cases, but I get the same result either way.
Hopefully this is just a temporary hiccup in the system, but if you have any other ideas for me, please let me know!

Hmmm... disappointing that there was no response. It wasn't a temporary hiccup. A few folks were able to see the map, but most (myself included) never could.
I took it off my page for now and will look for another service, but if anyone sees this and has any ideas why my map was showing up blank, let me know.
Thanks!

Yeah, that's really lame that the widget never worked for you. I was actually checking your blog every few days, and the map was showing up fine in both IE and FireFox. It doesn't make much sense why it would refuse to show for you, unless you have some sort of popup or ad blocker installed on your browser.
If you're looking for alternatives, you might want to check out Platial's MapKit (
http://www.platial.com
). They'll get you something similar, although without the lines connecting the dots. Their map widget uses Flash, so it might be able to get around whatever was stopping your maps from displaying.
Again, sorry that our widget let you down. Hope you are enjoying

Aha! I thought of one last thing-- I hadn't upgraded to IE 7 yet. It looks like that did the trick, even for Avant Browser (which is essentially a wrapper that uses IE's executable, so that would make sense). I'm still not sure why it didn't work under Firefox before, but it seems to work under all three (Firefox, IE and Avant) now!
Not sure if there's a note that I missed indicating that version 7 may be required for IE users, but if not, you may want to add that somewhere.
Either way, thanks for the reply and for putting this site together!
