After 28 hours of travelling... we made it!

Well the bus journey continued to get worse during the night as we guessed it inevitably would and we broke down about 2 hours short of Luang Prabang and we had to wait for a sawngthaew to take us the final stretch. Worst of all was our bags got loaded on the first one and there...

Welcome to Laos!

18 hours travelling several different "buses" one landslide and two muddy feet but I made it and its lovely. Very quiet and relaxed compared to a certain neighbor. Raining at the moment looks like it has been for a while. more soon!
