Beautiful drive to see a geyser which erupts every day at 10:15am with a little help from a friend.The geyser has 2 chambers,boiling water in the lower and cooler in the upper which acts as a lid.A park Ranger throws in an eco friendly detergent which decreases the surface tension of the cooler...

Sleepy Town

Tauranga is a typical small New Zealand town. We could walk downtown from our ship. It was basically a four block shopping and restaurant street.

Tauranga

TAURANGA (72km, 1133km total) - I took full advantage of my hungover state this morning and slept well past 11. Shad was up a little earlier and hung out some more with those of last night's guests who were still around. We made a slow morning of it, eating breakfast, cleaning, and packing up....
