Day 1

Galway, Ireland

Flew six and a half hours in a small plane But finally arrive in the morning (Ireland time). We went directly to the tour bus and headed to the cliffs of moher. We stopped on the way in a small town where we stretched our legs and attempted to grab snacks at a pub. We were turned back Due to Th fact that they dont serve food, only beer. We went to a small restaurant down the small street (almost alley size) and ordered pizza and wings. They gave me a bowl with a lemon in it; we guessed for my dirty fingers.. We then googled how to tip in Ireland and got back on the bus. Cliffs of moher was astonishing ! The pictures do not do it justice. Our tour bus driver told us the Story of a king who no one liked (Surprise) and a monument he built for himself. The land is very green rocky and hilly. The roads do not fit our tour bus with any other car although the driver seems to think its fine. Sheep and cows are everywhere and I've noticed how many houses are ranches with brightly colored doors. We saw one of the largest thatch roofs in the world as well as many small ones.

Rugby game 1

Westport, Ireland

We just played an awesome game of rugby! We traveled an hour and half from Galway to Westport. We tried to go under a small stone bridge and scraped the top of the bus. That was entertaining. We then drove the rest of the way past golf courses, stone walls, and baby lambs. The weather is beautiful today; we all played in shorts. The team we about the same size as us and we ended up tying the game. We stopped the match early because two of their players got hurt. We hung out with the team in their clubhouse after and ate some lamb soup similar to beef stew. We still aren't quite used to the small roads and driving in the left. We're headed to a beach and then celebrating Arden's 18th birthday! The other coach complimented us tremendously and we learned a few Irish slang words.
