How do you say "plane change" in Japanese?

Upon arrival in Japan, I waited plane-side for someone to accompany me to the other freighter, but no one seemed to know what I was doing there. Eventually the navigator took pity on me and convinced the van transport who was there to pick up the pilots and the navigator to drive me to the other plane.
