Eurotrip 2008

Our last day began with a bicycle tour around the city...it's the only way to travel in Amsterdam! I think most of us were concentrating more on not being run down by the locals/not falling into the canals than on the sights, however. Although I do remember seeing the narrowest building in Amsterdam. Afterwards, we had some free time so we decided to see what the shops had to offer: not a lot, it turned out.

The big finale of our tour came in the evening, when we visited a floating Chinese restuarant and then took off on a canal cruise in a glass-topped boat. I know we then went on to a club but as the wine on the boat was free and unlimited, everything is rather hazy from this point on...judging by my photographs we ended up at McDonalds in the early hours. Just classy.
