3 days for an extended weekend in Ireland. A perfect way to get prepared to the upcoming big train trip. A perfect way to get to know how Whisky is made and Guiness is prepared.
And of course, a perfect way to jump !!

Jumping on Belarus border
Brest
,
Belarus
After 24 hours of train, we arrived in Brest, on Poland-
Belarus
border (not to be mistaken with Brest in France uh !).
The trains in Russia,
Belarus
and
Mongolia
have different spacing compared to European standards. So we stopped 3 hours in Brest to change the boggies.
That's still some good time to stretch your legs, buy some
Chicken
for lunch... and jump of course !

In fact, in
Warsaw
our train coming from Amsterdam got
Split
in 2: one part went to Vienna and our part got attached to a part coming from Vienna to continue to Moscow.

Jumping in Moscow

Russia
Just arrived in Moscow, we went to get registered (not only do you need a visa but you need to be registered when you arrive in Russia, stating where you'll be staying and for how long)
Right after, we met with Ksenia and Gregory (CSers that I had hosted during the summer) for a city walk and we met with those fellow wannabe-jumper clowns.
Jumping sheep-style
We stayed 3 days in Moscow, hosted by Katya, the greatest CSer in town! An also particulary skilled at jumping :)
Jumping near the Red Square
Saint Basil's Cathedral is probably one of the most emblematic monument of moscow. It sits on one side of the red square. On the other side you'll find the Kremlin, the History Museum, the Kasan Cathedral and the Goom.

The picture below was taken at VDNKh park. This "Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy" (Выставка Достижений Народного Хозяйства Vystavka Dostizheniy Narodnovo Khozyaystva) or ВДНХ/VDNKh is a now permanent general-purpose trade show in Moscow. This park is fantastic, it bring you back to the soviet period in an instant.

Jumping in Balezino
After one night aboard train Rossyia (linking Moscow to Vladivostok), we stopped some time in Balezino. Enough time to stretch our legs and buy some food for the day to the local sellers on the platform.

Jumping in Perm'
Aboard the transsiberian, life is simple for 4 days: eat, sleep, read, talk, take the apero, eat, sleep etc... That's a wonderful time where you end up relaxed as you've never been before.
But when you'll get offered the chance to stop in a station for more than 5 minutes, you come to really appreciate to get off of the train and walk around the platforms.
Perm is mostly an industrial city. But it is also the entry door to famous Oural mountains.

Jumping in Barabinsk (a.k.a. train makes you zen)
Barabinsk
,
Russia
Jumping in Barabinsk
Barabinsk
is a small city for which wikipedia says "the most important economic sectors are the production of building material as well as metal and agricultural industries".
Ok, might not be the hottest touristic spot of Russia.
